Crews react to fire at Casper Mountain Sunday, 3/7 (Trevor Trujillo)

CASPER, WAYO – Natrona County fire crews are responding to a wildfire in the Elkhorn Creek River drainage at the base of Mount Casper, Casper Fire-EMS reports.

“The fire is usually moving northeast through moderate to heavy fuel,” the agency said on social media.

Agencies are asking the public to avoid the area while crews are working.
