Pokemon Company and The Wand Company are releasing a series of official copies of Poke Ball. The two companies have announced a series of Die-Cast Poke Ball replicas, with plans to release replicas of Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball and Premier Ball starting in 2021. Each Poke Ball is made of metal and has a premium painted finish. The Poke Balls replica comes with proximity recognition technology, which makes the Poke Ball light up when it senses movement. In addition, pressing the button will change the color of the Poke Ball light or start a lighting sequence that captures the Pokemon. Each ball will also come with a special presentation case, complete with a numbered authentication hologram and multicolored lights that light up every time someone opens the window. You can watch the video for the messages above.
The Poke Ball replica first appeared during the Macy Thanksgiving parade when a Pokemon trainer picked up one of the Poke Balls replicas during a dance sequence. The implementation also served as an official tease of Pokemon̵
The Poke Ball replica will cost $ 99.99, which includes the presentation case, stainless steel display ring and batteries. The Poke Ball replica is now available for pre-order at Zaavi and the list is live here on Amazon (it doesn’t seem to be activated at the time of writing – this will probably change soon). In addition, the Pokemon Center’s online website will receive an exclusive Poke Ball later this year. The first orders will be delivered on Pokemon Day (February 27) next year.
