Pokémon turns 25 today! In the midst of COVID-19, Pokémon still gives us entertainment on a large scale! The celebration of 25 years will not pass soon, as The Pokémon Company has announced a bunch of things that will be great!
New pokemon games
As reported during the recent broadcast of Pokémon Presents, Sinnoh is receiving a long-awaited remake! Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond will arrive at the end of 2021. On top of that, at the end of 2022 comes a new game Pokémon, which is also based on the Sinnoh region.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is coming at the end of 2022 and yes … it’s like a game of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Pokémon. That’s exactly what fans have dreamed of since the release of Sword and Shield? An open world game for the Pokémon series and a boy delivered Game Freak! Add the Sinnoh treatment to the mix and you win! These are two remakes – well, almost – for the price of one!
Throughout this week, Pokémon celebrates its 25th anniversary in a variety of ways. For example, at Pokémon GO we have a trio of birds at Raids plus Mewtwo, at Kanto’s special themed event, which is announced on The Pokémon Company’s official website.
On top of that, if you have a Pokémon Sword and Shield, then you can ask for a special Pikachu – yes, you can never get enough Pikachus – who knows the Sing move. Sing is not a move that Pikachu can learn on his own, so it’s certainly a rare collection.
Special Pokemon P25 Music concert
The icing on the cake comes in the form of a special Pokémon concert, live on Pokémon’s Twitch Channel and on the official Youtube channel. At 19:00 ET, the two streaming platforms will broadcast Pokemon P25, a special concert featuring artists performing special Pokémon themed songs to celebrate the occasion.
He is one of the established artists Post Malone. You can listen to Malone’s hit song I just want to be with you on Spotify and yes, the Pokémon viibe is right there, just listen carefully. Of course, the song is also available on other music platforms, depending on availability in your country.
But here’s the thing. On January 13, Pokémon revealed they made a special deal with Universal Music Group, where even more artists will take part in this year’s celebration.
Katy Perry, the popular pop singer, is one of the confirmed faces. In fact, Perry was the brain behind it P25 concert, where Post Malone will perform live. Does this mean that Katy Perry will also appear? And which other artists should join them? We have no idea, but it’s exciting!
Pokémon has officially confirmed that further details on Perry’s participation in the P25 program will be announced throughout the year. P25 Music looks like something that will continue throughout the year, not just tonight. Katy Perry made a statement to the press a few weeks ago:
“Pokemon is a constant in my life, from playing original video games on my GameBoy, trading Pokemon cards during lunch, all the way to the adventures of catching some monsters in Pokémon GO,” “I even visited the Pokémon Café in Japan while I was on tour. It is a real honor to be chosen to help celebrate the franchise that has given me so much over the last 25 years, and to be able to see how it develops in ways that I have to share this type of electrical joy with children from my life and worldwide “
With all these announced things, it seems that the P25 program can have really good value for fun. Stay on the line!
Words of separation
The franchise does not turn 25 days every day. This year’s event is something different thanks to COVID-19 and the huge locks, but we still don’t think that TPCI is cutting us short in any way.
I’m happy to write these lines because Pokémon is one of the franchises I love the most – that’s why I’m still here – and more importantly, Pokémon GO has been a major help in my left country since it came out in 2016. .
The opportunity to be part of the community with so many great people is something I am very grateful for. For me, the chance to be part of GO Hub is truly wonderful and this is mostly because the content of Pokémon is everywhere!
I think it’s downright impossible to summarize the impact that Pokémon has had on us in one article, but I think one thing is clear: we have to thank Satoshi Tajiri for creating this world that brought us all together. Here are another 25 years of Pokemon!
