CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Police officer Nicholas Galinger will be on holiday Friday in Ohio.

Galilee's Uncle Eric Mace, working for the Richmond Fire Department, told the Ohio branch that this is a very sad situation because Nicholas pursues his dream of being a police officer. He says that when he was hit and killed, that dream is over.

He says he is at a loss. Mace says she does not understand how anyone can do that. He says that in his 28 years in Fire and EMS, this is the hardest thing he had to deal with.
