Auburn's police are on hunt after a policeman from Auburn was shot several times, responding to a reported robbery Friday night at General Dollar.
Police are looking for 38-year-old Christopher James Wallace, who is believed to be the shooter, police said in a statement.
He is a white man, and was last seen with a camouflage hood and a silver jeep freedom drive, 6AB5267 alabama label. It is alleged that another woman was inside the vehicle with him.

Auburn University Veterinary School is currently closed due to shots in the area, according to a warning from the AU.
Police say the officer was shot several times, but he was alert when he was taken to a medical center in East Alabama for treatment.
Anyone who sees Wallace must call the local authorities at 911.
A warning was sent from the AC, which warns the students of Conner at 8:42. The signal told students to report any suspicious activity in the Wire Road area.
