It’s always in the last place you’re looking for.
The family thought their pet dog was missing and contacted police. Fortunately, the story has a happy, albeit somewhat unexpected, ending.
Authorities in England responded to calls from a 93-year-old woman who was worried that her dog Toby was missing, reports Southwest News Service (SWNS). She reportedly had not seen Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in two days and was very worried.

A police officer was sent to the woman’s home to perform a health check. While talking to the woman, the policeman reached for the ground to pick up a fallen object. The policeman then saw a small person peering under the back of the 93-year-old woman.
Apparently Toby was just stuck under the backrest.
Fortunately, he seemed to be in good health, except that he was understandably hungry and thirsty. After releasing the dog, the officer fed him and gave him some water.

According to SWNS, the officer said, “Both Toby and his owner looked over the moon to reunite, and that was obviously a huge relief for the woman. Her family, friends, and neighbors were out looking for Toby, but she became more and more anxious over time, believing he had escaped, and feared the worst. “

The officer continued: “Our pets are companions and become members of the family. I’m just very happy that we were able to calm the woman’s mind and make sure her dog was safe. “
