19-year-old Omarian Banks was shot down by LIFT near the wrong breeze in the complex, quoted the police. Banks and his girlfriend had just moved to the complex and Banks was not familiar with the area, police said. Banks used FaceTime to talk to his girlfriend when he knocked on the door he thought was his. Shortly after he left
The man inside, Darryl Bynes, 32, grabbed a gun and went to his balcony to face the banks, the police said. They said that after a brief conversation, Bines shot him. The police said that Bains told them he had shot Banks in self-defense.
Family friend Michael Wallace described the Banks as a hardworking man who never bothered anyone. even deserves to die, it has not even lived his life, "Wallace told WSB.
Bines is indicted for murder.
Maccala Johnson, who identified himself as Cousin's cousin, told WSB that the accusation was unfair.
"He is an innocent father," Johnson said. "He has five children … His truck was stolen earlier this week, and he's just trying to protect his family."
