The biggest change to the AirPods Pro is the new ear design. Apple includes three different sizes of earbuds, with new software features to help customers figure out which ear tip size is best for them.
The new ear design also means that AirPods now support active noise cancellation. Like the new Beats Solo Pro headphones (review), there is a transparency mode that lets you hear the environment around you while you continue to listen to music.
In terms of battery life, the new AirPods have five hours of listening time, and if active noise cancellation is activated, it drops to four and a half hours. The added charging case provides over 24 hours of listening time.
However, these new features have the highest price. AirPods Pro is priced at $ 249, which makes them significantly more expensive than regular AirPods. Due to its more flexible and responsive design, AirPods Pro is likely to appeal to a wider audience, but the price point may push some people away.
Personally, I'm still using the first generation AirPods and I'm not doing it right now. You have plans to upgrade to AirPods Pro. I have never been a big fan of earbuds in terms of comfort, and I don't see that changing with the AirPods Pro. My first-generation AirPods are coming to an end, but I'm more inclined to upgrade to second-generation AirPods with a wireless charger.
