Powerball Numbers: No Big Winner on Saturday, Jackpot Rises to $ 550 Million

NEW YORK – The Powerball jackpot has risen to more than half a billion dollars after Saturday’s draw failed to yield a winner.

The winning numbers on Saturday were: 14-26-38-45-46- Powerball: 13

The Mega Millions jackpot is even bigger, causing a lottery fever across the country.

Here’s what you need to know about the two awards:

Powerball

The Powerball jackpot rose to $ 550 million (cash value: $ 411.4 million) by Sunday morning, the biggest potential prize since March 2019.

Powerball officials say it could be the 9th biggest prize in the game’s history.

The next draw will take place on Wednesday, January 13.

Although no one won the grand prize, two tickets matched all five white balls to win $ 1

million. These tickets were sold in Pennsylvania and Florida.

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in New York on September 16, 2020.

“It’s been a few years since the games offered such big jackpots at the same time, and our players are here for it,” said May Shev Reardon, chairman of the Powerball product group and CEO of the Missouri lottery.

Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Mega millions

The Mega Millions jackpot reached $ 600 million for the fourth time in history.

Many lottery players hope for their chance of luck, as no ticket matches all six numbers drawn on a Friday night.

Friday’s winning numbers were: 18, 3, 58, 16, 6 and Megaball from 11.

Although no one won the Mega Millions jackpot earlier this week, five tickets matched all five white balls, making players in California, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York millionaires.

Four of the winners won $ 1 million, and the winner from New York bought the optional Megaplier, increasing his prize to $ 2 million.

Our sister WABC-TV reported that the $ 2 million ticket was purchased at Citgo Mart in Middletown, Orange County, and the $ 1 million ticket was sold at Masso’s Deli & Pizzeria in Gibbsboro, New Jersey.
