The Big Ten have a rich, rich history in historical cup games and are expected to continue in 2020, or so we think. Here at Buckeyes Wire, we follow tradition and give you a glimpse where we think all the teams in the conference will end when the dust settles during the season.
We re-evaluate after each week of the games and design based on what we see. Our first edition looks at where things are projected in this shortened season of the 2020 pandemic, but it will certainly change drastically as the calendar flips through the eight-week regular season.
Keep in mind that some cups don’t plan to play this year, so they only kill things for the lower end, the smaller cup games.
Also, keep in mind that these scenarios are very complex in design when there are not enough teams from certain conferences with tie-ins and cup agreements, so that the same program is not repeated within a certain period of time, if this is possible.
