Kate Middleton and her little daughter, Princess Charlotte, have lives we can only imagine in our wildest dreams. They can live in a palace, attend special events, ride in luxury cars and horse-drawn carriages and have an incredibly huge fanbase.
When you consider all this, it seems that Duchess Kate and Princess Charlotte most definitely have it all and somehow do it. Being a king is something that very few people in the world try, and most fans often wonder what it feels like to be part of the world's most famous family.
Pianos are a pretty exciting bunch – we have to admit it! Most of all they do is make headlines, and fans line up on the streets just to catch them quickly.
In addition to all this, they have the honor of using special titles. Most family members are known as princes, princesses, dukes, and duchesses, depending on how far they are from taking the throne. In a family that really has just about everything, we can't help but wonder: what is the one thing Princess Charlotte has that her mother, Duchess Kate, will not have?
The British line of inheritance can be confusing While we all know that Queen Elizabeth is the current ruling monarch, we must say that the line of inheritance is a little mind-boggling. Once Prince Charles was the next, then Prince William and then Prince Harry.
Because Prince Charles is the oldest of all his siblings, as well as Prince William, their positions do not change. When Duchess Kate and Prince William had children, Prince Harry was pushed back to sixth in a row.
If the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have more children, or when Prince George has children of his own, Prince Harry will be pushed back. Positions are constantly changing for family members, and those in direct lineage are only Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George
Kate Middleton future Queen?
As the wife of the future king, the Duchess Kate will not be a ruling monarch. Instead, she will wear the title or princess or consort queen.
What does it mean to be a managing consort? According to Quora, it simply means that you are married to the man who actually took the throne. Either way it's quite an honor and we have to say that Duchess Kate is perfect for her future role.
Before that happens, however, Camilla Parker-Bowles will be the Queen or Princess, given that the next Prince Charles is King.
What is the only thing Princess Charlotte owns that Kate Middleton does not have?
With all the wonderful things Middleton has going on in her life, what is the only thing her daughter has that she doesn't know? The answer is simple: Charlotte has royal blood.
While the Duchess Kate is very much a member of the family, she is not a direct descendant of the Queen and is therefore not in the royal bloodline. While the Duchess of Cambridge could only be a princess or a queen, Princess Charlotte would be a queen since she has a blood connection with the family.
So Charlotte will ever be a queen? According to Romper, she could, but that's not likely. Since her older brother Prince George will become king after Prince William's death, the only way Princess Charlotte will ever take the British throne is if something terrible happens to Prince George before he becomes king or before he has children in this in case she would take the throne like a true queen. The only other scenario is Prince George abdicates the throne.
