PlayStation and Xbox have not revealed much about their respective consoles, PS5 and Xbox Scarlett; however, there is an expectation that they are "more than the same," which means more powerful, but not innovative. And that's probably true, or so it seems. However, Alain Corre, EMEA's CEO, Ubisoft, is excited about next-generation systems, which he says are a "big leap".
"I do not know, I really do not know," Corre said. when asked if PS5 and Xbox Scarlett would be the latest home consoles from Telegraph. "We do not know what the fans want, we do not know how the streaming will grow … we know the next generation of consoles that have been announced are really a big leap from the current generation, and for us creators, it's fantastic because we've always been a lot excited in their attempts to capture the tip of the technology it can offer. "
Corre continued to talk about the attractiveness of next-generation systems for both players and developers:
]" Developers want to surprise the whole time, innovation ̵
As you can see, Corre more or less suggests that, despite the lack of innovation, just refining technology will be radical enough to improve the games, which in turn will be attractive to gamers
People often ignore the graphic improvements that are not so important, but the market says something different, meanwhile the increase in power and features will coincide with the progress made in the areas. In other words, PlayStation and Xbox should not invent the wheel, they just have to provide nice in a template for developers to work with, we may not get innovations in the way we play games, but we'll surely see the games develop themselves
Anyway, as always, do not hesitate to leave a comment , tell us what you think or hit on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know there, see from the next Xbox and PlayStation
