PS5 packages are in stock at GameStop [UPDATE: Sold Out]

Updated April 2, 2021: 9:47 AM ET: GameStop has sold all available stock for its three PS5 packages.

If you’ve been up to date with the PS5 news, you’ll know that it’s almost impossible to find this console right now due to the shortage and mostly online sales. If you don’t mind buying a package that includes additional items along with the PS5, GameStop has restored several PS5 packages right now.

We have identified two packages that may be worth buying if you are interested in what each package contains.

The PS5 Digital Edition package – which includes the console, plus one-year PS Plus and PS Now subscriptions, an additional DualSense controller and a $ 20 GameStop gift card – sells for $ 600, or about $ 200 more than the console alone. Purchasing all of these items separately would result in the same $ 600, so you are not forced to get an overpriced price.

The second package costs $ 730. At this price, it connects one PS5 to a disk drive, two games for $ 70 (Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War), an additional DualSense controller and a GameStop gift card for $ 20. Normally, all of these things would retail for about $ 720 before taxes, so there’s a slight price increase if you had to buy these items separately.

Today, GameStop has a third package for sale. For $ 760, you get the following: a PS5 console that includes the disk drive; three games (Marvel’s Avengers,, Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition, and Hitman 3), an additional controller, plus a $ 20 gift card for GameStop. Putting all of these items together retails for about the same, so there’s no digging in the price here, assuming you want all of these supplements.
