Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (for PC)
$ 9.99On Ubisoft
may target the Xbox Game Pass in the near future. Xbox Game Pass posted a medieval-looking untitled image on Twitter, but the image itself looks like a joke about the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege announcement, as it contains six arches and a siege weapon attacking a castle.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege will be aimed at the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with cross-generation multiplayer, so the timing of this unveiling could be good with the consoles in just a few weeks.
This move could be one step closer to Rainbow Six Siege to make it free to play, which according to game director Leroy Athanassoff is something the development team would obviously want at some point.
Rainbow Six Siege, reaching the Xbox Game Pass, will also bring Sam Fisher’s Splinter Cell back to the Microsoft console, as he was recently added as an operator named Codename Zero.
Rainbow Six Siege was released in 2015 and has been supported and improved over the years. We reviewed the game in 2018 and said that “Rainbow Six Siege has grown into a much deeper competitive FPS that still rewards intelligent gaming as much as a good goal.”
