A new contract for the San Francisco 49ers near George Keatle may not have been made yet, but it looks like the wait won’t last much longer.
According to the NFL network, the 49ers and Kittle are nearing the end of a deal that will make Kittle the highest paid narrow end in the league “so far”.
A report from SI.com earlier in the day indicates that a new deal for Kitl will be announced on Friday. Keatl himself seems to be challenged by this feature on his Twitter account after saying, “You believe everything you read on the internet, eh.” More reports followed, saying that although no deal had been reached yet, progress seemed to be made towards an agreement. Progress now appears to have reached the final stages of the negotiations.
Hunter Henry from Los Angeles has the highest average salary for the position of 10.6 million dollars for this year of the franchise brand. However, the four-year contract that Austin Hooper signed with the Cleveland Browns, this offseason worth $ 42 million is the benchmark multi-year deal for the position.
