ST. LOUIS, Mo. – You can get paid $ 3,310 to participate in a flu study at a Missouri hospital.
The catch: You will be infected with the flu virus and quarantined for at least 10 days under controlled conditions at St. Louis University, KTVI
Volunteers will receive a nasal spray containing a strain of seasonal influenza virus. The study is based on the recent work of scientists at the NIAID Infectious Diseases Laboratory to develop a model for influenza disease.
