Pre-orders are open now and there is a luxury and collector’s edition that you can pick up. There is also a “visual demonstration” called Girl available today, but is exclusive to the PS5. It will come on additional platforms in the spring, Capcom said.

Capcom showed new footage from the gameplay for The village during today’s stream, including combat, an inventory system reminiscent of Contagious evil 4and the introduction of The Duke, the game’s obese trader. The village stars Resident Evil 7: Biohazard protagonist Ethan Winters as he hunts for his daughter in a Gothic castle full of puzzles, murderous inanimate creatures and supernatural, dressed Edwardian women who sometimes turn into swarms of bugs.
Capcom also lifted the lid Reverse, an online multiplayer game that pits classic Resident Evil characters against each other in five-minute rounds of four to six players. Reverse will be free for anyone who owns The village.
