Rudy Giuliani has dismissed fears that his latest slander against Biden is part of a conspiracy to interfere in foreign elections, but a Ukrainian lawmaker recently seen by the US Department of Defense as an “active Russian agent” has now given more details.
Andriy Derkach, one of the key players in Giuliani’s long-running dirt-digging mission against Joe Biden in Ukraine, took care of Biden’s last stains of the former mayor of New York – presumably including a forgotten laptop. Derkach said on Facebook that he had a “second laptop”
The lawsuit is clearly clouding Giuliani’s latest “smoking rifle” charge against Hunter Biden. He says they came to light after an obscure owner of a computer workshop in Delaware discovered Biden’s laptop and copied the hard drive before warning federal authorities and inexplicably Giuliani’s own lawyer. Now that Derkach has jumped on claims to be a “second laptop,” that would mean that private computer content allegedly linked to Hunter Biden has somehow fallen into the hands of three separate parties: a media empire controlled by by a Chinese billionaire who is closely related to Steve Bannon; a casual Delaware store owner who openly supports Trump; and Derkach, a Ukrainian conspiracy theorist who studied at the FSB’s Moscow Academy.
Derkach wrote on Facebook about the suspicious New York Post a report that relies on unverified images of emails provided by Trump’s allies to prove there is a corruption scheme by Biden and his son, involving Ukrainian gas company Burisma. He then said he had a second laptop, which was used by “two representatives in the interest of [Burisma founder Mykola] Zlochevski. “
“This laptop was given to Ukrainian law enforcement,” Derkach wrote, adding that Burisma officials who used the laptop now serve as “witnesses in criminal proceedings.” He said witnesses were ready to testify about an international corruption scheme involving Biden and his son Hunter, who served on the gas company.
It has already been reported that Russian spies successfully infiltrated Burisma computer networks last year, although it is not clear to what extent they were able to gain access and copy.
Although the Trump team would convince the public to be a vast mountain of evidence, neither Joe nor Hunter Biden have been charged with wrongdoing, and Ukrainian prosecutors confirmed months ago that they found no evidence of crime.
Derkach is no newcomer to the Biden saga. While facilitating Trump’s allies like Giuliani during the impeachment process, he held repeated press conferences in Kiev, pointing to alleged evidence of corruption from the former vice president and claiming that it was not Russia that interfered in the 2016 election but Ukraine. He also took a prominent place in the Trumpian One America News Network’s “exhibition” and met with Giuliani in Kiev last year as part of their mission against Biden. His allegations are not under control.
After Derkach was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department in September for working as a foreign operative, Giuliani insisted he saw no “evidence” to say conclusively whether Derkach was working as a Russian agent or not.
He told The Daily Beast this week that he believed it had been raised whether his partner in Biden’s smear campaign was an active spy. “The chance of Derkach being a Russian spy is no better than 50/50,” he said.
But US intelligence officials began warning in the spring of 2019 that Derkach was part of Russia’s efforts to pave the way for the US presidential election and spread the word that Biden and his son were involved in impure corruption schemes abroad. .
Giuliani’s allegations against Biden have developed dramatically since he first launched his attacks on then-alleged opponent of Trump in 2020, claiming that the former vice president had wrongfully coerced a Ukrainian prosecutor. After numerous “revelations” about the alleged abuse of power by Biden, broadcast on the OAN, largely failed to gain much power, Giuliani turned his attention to Biden’s son, Hunter, whom he now considers a “risk to national security.” .
Strangely, even Giuliani’s allegations against the younger Biden are everywhere, from his initial allegation that Hunter used access to his father to sort out his own pockets, to his very personal attacks on his recognized anti-substance abuse struggles. and perhaps most desperately, his last stick, which Hunter Biden committed “disgusting sexual behavior.”
