Rumors and heated reviews about the disgruntled quarterback of Houston Texas Deschawn Watson will not stop until there is a solution.
Watson was unhappy with the Texans after the organization did not consult with him before hiring Nick Caserio as the new general manager. Watson – who signed a four-year extension with Houston before the 2019 season – said he had asked for a deal.
The San Francisco 49ers are one of the teams discussed as a potential landing site for Watson, but that would cost the franchise a ton of capital.
Former NFL offensive player and current analyst Ross Tucker has joined 95.7 The Game̵
“If you can get Deschawn Watson, I think Bosa is even touching.” I’m sure they don’t want to do it, and I’m sure they’d even prefer to give up, but as much as Nick is, you get a chance to take the top five in the NFL, I have to. “
49ers successor Deebo Samuel responded to Tucker’s comments about his story on Instagram:
Boza injured his knee in week 2 in the first quarter of the week 2 victory over the New York Jets. The faithful felt a pit in their stomachs when the news came that the defender from the second year of defense broke his ACL and missed the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2019 after finishing with 47 fights, 9 sacks and 25 QB hits. Pro Football Focus gave him a score of 86.7 for the rookie season, the fourth highest among rookie defenders since 2006.
Boza’s absence was evident this season. Defense coordinator Robert Saleh scored a lot more blitz after Boza came out, and the defensive line failed to muster much pressure in the rush for four.
Fans also love Bosa. The reaction to his rise after fear of injury during the victory in the playoffs in 2019 over the Minnesota Vikings says it all.
Tucker added that if he had been general manager John Lynch, he would have done his best not to include Bosa in the trade package for Watson, but eventually, if necessary, he snapped the trigger.
Would you like to break up with Bosa to land Watson?
