Run the Jewels’ Killer Mike and El-P released their new album, RTJ4, entirely on Adult Swimming on Saturday in an attempt to encourage voting in the November election.

The powerful event without commercial advertising called Saint Kalamavote, marked the first live performance of RTJ4, which fell in June. The TV set includes pre-recorded performances by Pharrell Williams, 2 Chainz, Zack de la Rocha, Mavis Staples and Josh Homme, all of whom appear as guests on the album.

Comedian Eric Andre hosted the 45-minute broadcast, providing comic relief between the 1

1 songs performed.

During most of the program, the hip-hop duo kept it strictly to music, but broke their silence towards the end and encouraged viewers to vote on November 3rd.

“We believe that the last thing they want you to do is get out of your house and march in person, hide and vote for what you think this country should be, for what you think it should be. make this state reflect, “El-P said during the closing track.” A few words about the squad. “We want you to go down there.
