Samsung annoys its first sub-display camera, but doesn’t come with the phones

In September last year, ZTE introduced the world’s first camera phone under the display. While the ZTE Axon 20 5G is currently the only phone with a selfie camera with an insufficient display, the technology is expected to become a bit more widespread by the end of this year. Samsung, which has been rumored to have been working on sub-display camera technology for a long time, is also rumored to launch its first sub-display camera phone this year.

As can be seen in the video above, Samsung’s sub-display camera technology will make laptops have almost frameless screens with a screen-to-body ratio of 93%. The panel is also incredibly thin only 1 mm and weighs 130 grams. Samsung Display has not yet shared more details about the technology, so it is unclear whether Samsung’s first notebooks with “Blade Bezel” screens will arrive later this year.

Samsung’s first camera phone with a display is rumored to be the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will be a sequel to one of the best Android phones released last year. As the foldable phone is not expected to be released until the second half of the year, we may learn more about Samsung’s sub-display camera technology for phones in the coming months.
