Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds Live, its latest pair of wireless headphones, back in August. We were big fans of Buds Live and their unique design, but not everyone likes legumes. Now it looks like the company’s next pair of Galaxy Buds will return to the traditional ear factor, as well as some great improvements beneath the surface.
A new report shows that the next generation of Galaxy Buds will follow in the footsteps of Galaxy Buds and Buds + with a similar sealed design in the ear. Like Buds Live, the new pimples will offer active noise cancellation, but due to design differences, it should sound better and block noise more effectively. There will also be improvements in sound quality, along with a much better ambient mode to allow external sounds to pass loud and clear.
The open design of Buds Live has affected the effectiveness of its noise reduction.
While the exact release date of Samsung’s next-generation headphones is not yet known, rumors point to a simultaneous debut with the Galaxy S21 range early next year. Galaxy Buds + were unveiled at the company’s Unpacked event at the same time as the S20 series, so it looks likely we’ll see something similar happen again.
Galaxy Buds “Beyond” is supposed to be one of the names of the products that are exchanged for improved pimples. No matter what name Samsung ends up with with the launch of the new Galaxy Buds, it sounds like they will definitely deliver some welcome upgrades when it comes to the audio experience.
