Samsung’s new Galaxy SmartTag Plus is now available in the US for pre-order

Samsung first introduced the Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag Plus back in January, when it announced the Galaxy S21 series. The small device connects to Samsung’s SmartThings app and allows a Galaxy smartphone to find that device, or allows the device to find a Galaxy smartphone. The Galaxy SmartTag Plus is finally available for pre-order from B&H Photo in the US.

7;re around. Battery life is also significantly shorter with the SmartTag Plus, which is rated for 5 months, while the standard SmartTag is rated for up to 300 days.

The new SmartTag Plus retails for $ 39 and is currently available for order only in black mode, with orders shipped April 12. The standard (review here) sells for $ 29 from Samsung’s website, but can be found cheaper on Amazon and in black and oatmeal.
