On Monday, Cohen told Late Show host Stephen Colbert that he was hiding in a specially built “hiding place” for the stage, but had to go inside to get inside when Giuliani’s security guards came in to sweep the room before the interview with actor Maria Bakalova, who plays Borat’s daughter in the film. Once in hiding, the only way to communicate and know when to leave is by text, except that someone forgot to check the cell phone battery:
Giuliani, who serves as President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, was caught on camera for being more than a little sinister with Bakalova. At one point, he even put his hands on his pants. The former mayor said he was putting his shirt away.
Trump called Cohen “creeping”
Cohen replied, offering him a job.
Donald – I appreciate Borat’s free advertising! I admit, and I don’t find you funny. But still the whole world laughs at you.
I’m always looking for people to play racist fools and you’ll need a job after January 20th. Lets talk! Https: //t.co/itWnhJ8TQF
