Happy weekend, chips! I hope you’re staring at the barrel in some unusually warm weather, since we’re here in Michigan. Must. Return. To. Outdoor!

Like, maybe, going out and shooting a little video? C free phone OnePlus, perhaps? Hey, just spitting. Maybe you are happy to stay in and play free game. You do it. (Poll: Has this phrase been played or is it still viable?)

I found some great things to start your weekend with. Look.

Of course, at first we all thought selfie sticks were stupid. But let’s be honest: They are extremely comfortable, especially if they are like this. It doubles as a tripod, an invaluable feature for vloggers on the go. It also has a removable Bluetooth remote for taking photos and starting / stopping video. No problem at this price, if you ask me.

Want to take your phone video to the next level? Try shooting with a triangular PTO like this. It promises to keep your shots much more stable than if you shot by hand, plus it doubles as a tripod. It also folds for easy transport.

Although I haven’t tried this particular cardan shaft, I’ve noticed one thing about products like these (which, by the way, sold for $ 100 or more): There’s a learning curve. Read the instructions, watch some tutorial videos. Since the operation is not always intuitive, a little research is in order.

A modest package

If you don’t mind a few obscene words with your self-help, check out this massive package of e-books from the Humble Bundle. Includes a huge 27 titles, most of Microcosm’s popular Unf * ck Your Life series. (The one that started it all, Unf * ck Your Brain, sells for $ 10 for a Kindle on its own.)

Different levels are available, including one that is only $ 1, but obviously the best value is buying the whole enchilada. Whatever you choose, part of the proceeds goes to Street Books, a “mobile library powered by bicycles serving people living outside and within Portland, Oregon.”

Two monitors next to each other = a big increase in performance. But if your desk doesn’t have room to hold them, or you want more positioning options, get this double-arm stand. Just tighten it at the back of your desk (or using the hole-in-the-hole option) and attach the Vesa-compatible monitors to your shoulders.

The mount can hold screens up to 27 inches and they are all good for tilting, rotating and rotating independently. Great, great deal for the price.

Calm and pleasant weekend and see you here on Monday!
