Scavengers begins an open early access period for all computer players

Midwinters announced on its official Twitter that the free third-party title of Battle Royale for cleaning Scavengers has begun its early period of computer access, making it available to all players on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Cleaners first reached early access last week, but it was only accessible through keys distributed by the Twitch Drops event. However, the mentioned event encountered several problems. Viewers could only get a Steam key by watching a 30-minute segment of Twitch’s game, but some who tuned in didn’t get one. Eventually, Midwinters ran out of Steam keys and had to start distributing Epic Games Store keys instead. On top of that, there were some serious problems that were causing the crashes. In response to these problems, the studio provided free access to early access to the game.

Midwinters has released a deep dive gameplay trailer to celebrate Scavengers, which serves as a handy springboard for new players who need an introduction to the game̵

7;s history and game mechanics. The title is in a post-apocalyptic world infected with an alien virus, after a collision of an asteroid with the Moon leads to constant and devastating winter storms.

According to Midwinter, 100,000 people are currently playing Scavengers – a great achievement considering the technical hiccups on the road. And the official site states that future game updates will introduce new seasonal targets, modes, characters, enemies, map locations and more.
