The Brooklyn Nets entered the opening of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks in full force. One minute in Game 1, however, they lost James Harden to the same hamstring injury that had plagued him for most of the season. The Nets still managed to win, but unfortunately they will be left without Harden at least for Game 2 while trying to recover. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. try to take advantage of even the semifinal series of the East on Monday. Although there is still a lot of basketball to play, the nets are the ones who came out early ahead of the Bucks after 12 minutes of play.

Feeling that their All-Star teammate would not return in Game 1

, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the other Nets starters stepped up against the Bucks. KD finished with 29 points, Irving scored 25 and Joe Harris had 19 points. Blake Griffin also contributed 18 points along with 14 boards to the win. Janice led all the scorers with 34 points in a very efficient 16-of-24 shot, but his Bucks failed to withstand – or stop – the Nets on Saturday.
