For business tycoon and music pioneer Sean Didi Combs, it’s all in one word: Love.
The 51-year-old super producer revealed on Monday that he changed his middle name from his maiden name “John”, for which Combs launched his famous clothing line Sean John in 1998 and later sold a majority stake in Global Brands Group in 2016. – to “Love”, which he tells fans to call him as in recent years.
Combs posted a photo of his newly acquired driver’s license on Instagram, which really shows the official name change.

Combs had previously said in honor of his 48th birthday that he would change his name to Brother Love, a position that was not good for some WWE fans at the time.
“I decided to change my name again! My new name is LOVE, also known as Brother Love. #TakeDat,” he said on Twitter in November 2017.
“Hey, what’s up? I have very, very serious news,” he said in a video made on the beach that accompanied the tweet. “I prayed about it and decided – I know it’s risky, it can get dirty for some people, like yo – I decided to change my name again.”

He later retired after a quick push on social media.
“Well, ladies and gentlemen, today I came to the conclusion that you can’t play with the Internet,” Combs said at the time. “Because of the overwhelming response from the media there, and precisely because I didn’t want to be confused, I was joking. Okay? I didn’t change my name. It’s just part of one of my alter egos.”

Combs filed a petition in Los Angeles to change his middle name to “Love” in 2019, and now, as an established resident of Florida, Love is officially in the air.
