such as the darkness myself Grishavers lives another day. Netflix has announced the second season of the TV adaptation of The fantastic novels of Lee Bardugo is called by darkness.
This should probably come as no big surprise, given the acclaim that the fantasy series has received since it debuted last April. Netflix claims 55 million households watched Shadow and bone on Netflix in the first month of its release. That’s enough! Jesse May Lee (Alina Starkov), Archie Reno (Malien Oretsev), Freddie Carter (Kaz Brecker), Amita Suman (Iney), Keith Young (Jesper Fahi) and Ben Barnes (General Kirigan) return for a second season with eight episodes they will probably adapt Siege and storm, the second book in Bardugo’s Grishaverse series. Here is a cute video they all made to celebrate.
Bardugo told the news, “I’ve been writing at Grishaverse for almost ten years now, so I’m excited to continue this adventure. There are so many places we have barely been able to visit and I can’t wait to introduce our audience to more than the saints, soldiers, thugs, thieves, princes and privateers who make this world so much fun to explore. It will be real magic to see how our brilliant talented cast expands. “
Trying to describe everything that happened in the first season is a silly task, so I’ll just let the official description of Netflix lift the heavy:Shadow and bone finds us in a war-torn world in which the lowly soldier and orphan Alina Starkov has just unleashed an extraordinary force that could be the key to the liberation of her country. With the monstrous threat from the Shadow Fold, Alina is torn by everything she knows. to train as part of an elite army of magical soldiers known as Grisha. But as she struggles to hone her strength, she discovers that allies and enemies can be one and the same, and that nothing in this lavish world is what it seems. Dangerous forces are at work, including a crew of charismatic criminals, and survival will require more than magic.
It’s not wrong! Shadow and boneThe second season is not even close to a release date, but at least we know it’s on the way.
