Several attractions for the Orlando Universal Resort, which are temporarily closed, start on August 9

With the reopening of theme parks in Orlando, many attractions remained closed to better enforce social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. From August 9, even more attractions will be temporarily closed at Universal Orlando Resort.

The following attractions will be temporarily closed:

  • A day in the park with Barney
  • Live fear factor
  • Fast and furious: Overcharging
  • Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl
  • Poseidon̵
    7;s rage
  • Storce Force Accelatron

As a stage show with live actors, Fear Factor Live has been closed since the parks reopened. The other attractions work with guidelines for social distancing and disinfection.

Storm Force Accelatron and Poseidon’s Fury are two popular attractions that can be performed when it rains, so this can lead to limited accessibility to attract guests during storms. Fast and Furious: Supercharged, while one of Universal Orlando’s newest attractions, has been heavily criticized and there is rarely a wait.

There is no timeline for when these attractions will hope to reopen. All team members in these attractions will be transferred to other locations.
