According to Bar and Bench, the lawsuit was filed against Republican Television and its journalists Arnab Goswami and Pradeep Bhandari, along with Times Now and its journalists Rahul Shivshankar and Navika Kumar. It is also reported that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, the relevant production houses of Karan Johar, along with the main flags and even CINTAA have gathered as plaintiffs in the lawsuit. The lawsuit was reportedly to refrain from refusing these news channels to make derogatory and irresponsible remarks against Bollywood along with conducting media channels of Bollywood personalities.
