Man, we have to move to Japan. They get some great things, like this Sony AR-driven experience that the company brings together. In short, Sony is giving people in Japan the guts to be Ghostbuster thanks to the magic of AR (augmented reality) technology. The bad news? Apart from being restricted to Japan, only a limited number of people will experience it. The good news? In addition to letting you be a Ghostbuster, assuming you are selected (see below), it's free.

The event is to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Ghostbusters franchise and is being held at the Ginza Sony Park in Tokyo on October 12 this year. Unfortunately, you can't just get used to and expect to play. You can't even make a reservation and expect to play. You'll have to put your name on the list and maybe … maaaaybe … Sony will call you and let you know it's time to crack some ghosts. The event runs from October 12 this year to December 8 and will have between two and four events a day. About 600 people will obviously participate in the total for the period and these participants will be announced a few days before the start of each section of the event.
