Southwest Airlines serves another city: Syracuse, New York.
The Southwest typically adds one or two cities a year, but this year it adds more than a dozen, including Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Eugene, Oregon.
Flights to and from Syracuse Hancock International will begin on November 14.
“Our latest destination in the Finger Lakes area of New York not only allows New Yorkers easier access to our growing network, but offers New York State’s offerings to our existing customers,” said the chief commercial officer and executive vice president. of Southwest Andrew Waterson in a statement.
Syracuse marks the 121st airport served by the Southwest, which carries more domestic passengers than any other US airline.

Southwest adds international routes
Southwest also adds several international routes to the cities it serves.
On November 13, the airline will begin international service to Kansas City, Missouri, with seasonal flights to Cancun. Southwest will offer a seasonal direct service between Cancun and Chicago O’Hare International Airport from November 7.
The airline plans to resume flights to all previously served international destinations by November 7, including Montego Bay, Jamaica and Belize City, Belize.

In the United States, the Southwest has announced it will resume service for Jackson, Mississippi.
Reservations for all airline destinations are open until January 5, 2022.
