STALKER 2 has support for 4K and Ray Tracing, will come in Xbox Game Pass the first day

The developer of STALKER 2 GSC Game World announced that its long-awaited sequel will come in Xbox Game Pass on the day of launch and will include both beam tracking technology and support for 4K resolution. In a new update to the Xbox Wire blog, GSC said “you can be sure that the game will come in the Xbox Game Pass on the first day.”

In addition, the studio describes in detail the current progress of the game. “We are progressing smoothly, including versions of the Xbox Series X | S. The goal is to deliver the highest possible quality on each platform for which it is announced. With fast SSD, RTX support (both X and S series) and 4K Resolution (X Series), we are pleased to see the STALKER 2 take shape as the best experience we originally promised. “Based on the trailer in the engine, released in December last year, it seemed almost guaranteed that STALKER 2 would push the graphics envelope. It̵

Finally, the post also revealed that the main character of STALKER 2 has the code name Skif. Although nothing more has been revealed about Skif, the GSC promises that “His actions will shape the new great chapter in the history of the Zone.”
