As of Friday, three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported, resulting in 485 of the county’s population who tested positive for the virus.
The Humboldt County Dashboard now provides more information on age cases. The age group 0-19 is divided into two categories, 0-9 and 10-19 years. About 8 percent of the cases in the county were in the 0-9 age group, and nearly 12 percent were in the 10-19 age group.

The age group between 20 and 29 represents the largest number of local cases with 23.5 percent.
Nearly 44 percent of local cases are diagnosed in people under the age of 30.
The time needed to double the number of cases in the county is now 50 days.
The confirmed incidence rate in the county is 362 per 100,000 residents. State and national rates are more than five times higher in 1,949 and 2,070 cases, respectively.
