A Humboldt resident died in an outpatient hospital in the 1980s after being diagnosed with COVID-19. This marks the eighth death of a county resident associated with the virus.
Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovic sent her condolences to the family. “Our thoughts are with friends and family who are experiencing this loss,” she said.
Seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, resulting in 508 county residents who tested positive for the virus.
