Students at the University of Idaho's law school in Boise raise concerns after the graduation ceremony moves to high school

BOISE, Idaho – If you take the time to study, work and pay your way through law school, would you like to go back to high school to earn your degree?

Right now, this is the reality for students at the University of Idaho at the University of Boise.

A third-year law student told KTVB that several students were concerned about their May 2020 graduation ceremony, which is being held at Timberline High School instead of the usual Grove Hotel venue. [19659004] "We had The Grove saved, which is usually where we graduate from the University of Idaho, Boas," says Michael Sattz, associate vice president at U I I Boise.

Satz explained that a ceremony was being held for all graduates at Boise City I University.

"This year, we actually lost our reservation because another event came that was bothering us," said Satz. "So, we had to do our best to find a suitable place."

Members of the I Boise administration held a meeting Thursday afternoon for interested students at Law College.

According to Satz, students who want a ceremony at different locations can travel to other U of I campuses in Moscow, Querre d'Alene, or Idaho Falls. , but voiced questions about the trips of family members to Boise who wanted to attend the ceremony.

"I can understand the frustration that students have," Satz said. "They spent a lot of time working hard and it may be disappointing for them, but we really do our best to give them the best program and the best experience we can."

The place to finish the 2020 class will still be held at Timberline High School unless the administration can find a replacement place within the school budget.

U of I Boise will hold a town hall meeting on November 1

5th so students can formally express their concerns to the administration. [19659002] RELATED: "Companies Like HP Will Go" by Boise Without Variety of Colleges and Involvement Programs: HP Representative
