Superman and Lois will fly for another season. After its strong premiere in a multi-platform series last week, CW has resumed the superhero drama for a second season. This marks one of the fastest renewals for freshmen; in 2014, CW ordered a second season of The lightning two weeks after the big debut of this DC series.

The premiere of today’s 90-minute series of drama, based on DC characters, elevated The CW to its best night in prime time in more than two years, on January 29, 2019, according to Nielsen. In addition, the debut provided the largest audience for a day of streaming for a new series in the history of The CW.
The series debuted with an additional million viewers (1.7 million to 2.7 million) in Live + 3, while nearly doubling viewer activity on the same day among adults 18-34, up 93% in L + 3, according to Nielsen and the network.
Superman and Lois increases to 13 CW series renewed for the 2021-2022 season. They are still expected Kung Fu, Sarah Republic and Stargirl, none of which has premiered its current seasons.
Superman and Lois stars Tyler Hocklin as Clark Kent / Superman, Elizabeth Tuloc as Lois Lane, Jordan Elsas as Jonathan Kent, Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Eric Valdes as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarret as Sarah Cushing, Volley Parks as The Stranger, Rayman Dylan Walsh as General Samuel Lane and Emanuel Crick as Lana Lang Cushing.
Based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster, Superman and Lois was developed by Greg Berlanti and Todd Helbing, who act as executive producers, along with Sarah Schechter and Jeff Jones. Todd Helbing wrote the teleplay for the first episode, based on a story by Berlanti and Helbing. Lee Toland Krieger is the executive producer and director of the first episode. Superman and Lois is from Berlanti Productions, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television.
