Taylor Swift has canceled the remaining shows on her Lover Fest tour due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The 31-year-old Swift joined her social media accounts on Friday to share the “sad” update for her fans.
“I love coming here to tell you good news or to share a new project with you. It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you news I’m sad about. I’m so sorry, but I can’t reschedule shows, “Although the refunds have been in place since we first postponed Lover Fest broadcasts, many of you were hanging on to your tickets, and I was also hoping for the idea that we could reschedule,” the Evermore singer said.

On Twitter, Swift said her fans were “terribly lacking” and “can’t wait until we can all be together again at the shows.”
Despite the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, which throws a wrench in concerts and live performances for most of 2020 and in the near future, Swift managed to delight his fans with the release of not one but two surprising albums last year. .
Back in July, Swift surprised fans with the announcement of a new album entitled “Folklore”. Then, in December, Swift announced the release of Folklore’s “sister,” entitled “Evermore.”

“I’ve never done this before. In the past, I always treated albums as one-time eras and moved on to planning the next post-release album. There was something different about folklore. When I created it, I felt less like I was leaving and more “I was coming back soon. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary / unimaginable tales. I loved the way you hailed dreamy landscapes and tragedies and epic love stories lost and found in your life,” Swift said at the time.
And if that’s not enough to keep her fans, the world pop star recently announced that she has officially finished re-recording her November 2008 album “Fearless”.
