WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) – A technical problem is related to flights from a number of airlines across the country, including Bradley International Airport at Windsor Locks.
CBS 2 in New York confirmed that the problem affects Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Jet Blue, Alaska Air and Delta.
Southwest Airlines posted a statement to Channel 3 on Monday morning.
"Southwest Airlines has grounded this morning as a result of a technology stay with a vendor who provides data on the weight and balance of aircraft," said Dan Landon, Southwest Airlines spokesman, "We appreciate the patience of our customers, while working with our partner to solve the problem as soon as possible. "
A video received from Channel 3 by a Southwest Airlines flight from Plainfield received a message saying that there was a problem with" Weight Balance Data. "
Through her Twitter account, Southwest replied
"We currently do not have an ETA, but we work hard to overcome this," said the airline, "Meanwhile, we appreciate your patience with us."
Delta also replied to customers via my Twitter account
