Tesla Heavy Duty President Jerome Guillen left the company on June 3, 2021. Guillen has been helping Tesla grow for just over ten years.
Tesla’s head office financed an 8-K form, which announced Jerome Guillen’s departure. The document says very little about the long-term leave of the executive branch.
“As of June 3, 2021, Jerome Guillen, President of Tesla Heavy Trucking of Tesla, Inc. (“Tesla”), left Tesla. We thank him for his human contribution and wish him success in his future career, “said the simple announcement of Gilen’s departure from the car manufacturer EV.

Tesla is due to begin production of the Semi later this year. It is not yet clear whether Gillen’s exit from Tesla will affect Semi production. Tesla did not provide information on the semi-production since the last call for revenue, when Elon Musk noted that the company was still developing its Class 8 heavy-duty truck.
At the time of writing, Gyllen has not commented on his leave. Elon Musk also did not comment on Guillaume’s departure.
This is not the first time Gyllen has retired from Tesla. He also took a sudden leave of absence from the company in 2015, just before the launch of the Model X. At the time, he was still showing his support for Tesla and was spotted at the Tesla Supercharger in Mt. Shasta interacted with Model S customers. He later joined the company as vice president of trucks and programs.
