The new watch range will include a higher-end model with a new blood oxygen sensor, and a cheaper an entry-level model that will replace the $ 199 of the Apple Watch Series 3 that Apple currently sells.

Instead of launching the iPhone, today’s Time Flies event will include a redesigned iPad Air, new Apple Watch models and possibly the unveiling of the Apple One initiative.
The new Air will include thinner bezels and will look similar to the iPad Pro line in terms of industrial design, but will use a Touch ID button instead of Face ID to save costs. Rumors of an Apple Watch point to the addition of an oxygen sensor in the blood and a faster processor.
Other possible announcements for Apple products include AirTags, AirPods Studio headphones, a new HomePod and a teaser for the upcoming Apple Silicon Macs. However, there is no consensus on whether these products are ready to be announced today or will appear later as part of the October iPhone event.
