A little chocolate Santa Claus wearing a marzipan face mask has a Hungarian pastry chef who is making money, Reuters reported.
Laszlo Rimocci just wanted to lift the spirits of the chocolate alcoholics in the dumps around COVID-19. Instead, the world’s sweet teeth erupted, flooding it with online orders.
Rimoczi has so many orders that he had to refine his design. He now makes about 100 happy old St. Knicks a day in his workshop about 45 miles south of Budapest.
First, it shapes the body from gluten-free Italian chocolate. Then comes the sugar almond mask.
“I think until Santa Claus comes, he will have to wear a mask, because Santa Claus has to set a good example for people,”
