As part of the ongoing court battles with Qualcomm, Apple was banned from selling iPhone 7 and 8 in Germany. However, the company has published a press release stating that telephone sets will remain available through thousands of distributors.
Following the decision in December, Apple released a press release stating that all of its iPhone models would be available throughout Germany via carriers and resellers. The court is not satisfied with this, stating that the statement issued by Apple "creates the impression of unlimited availability" ̵
The press release is misleading as it contains statements that are at least potentially fraudulent about the availability of the goods, namely the iPhones affected by the decision. Apple plans to appeal the decision.
