Prinsloo’s experience is certainly being tested in the robbery attempt. Although the test lasted only a few minutes, several shots were fired at him and his passenger, who was literally a passenger throughout the situation. Unable to return fire and apparently unable to drive, he could do little more than obey Princelo’s commands. He doesn’t look as cool under pressure as his colleague, but it can be assumed that very few people would be. Except for the commentators on YouTube, of course.

Eventually, the robbers avoided it, and the truck carrying the money was an armored Toyota Land Cruiser from the 70 Series, which seemed to be stuck. Shortly after Toyota was immobilized, the Prinsloo got out of the vehicle armed with a semi-automatic rifle, some specifications of the AR-1

5. Then the video ends.

The aftermath of the incident was posted on Twitter by Yusuf Abramee. Prinsloo and his partner are unharmed, although the same cannot be said of the Land Cruiser. The Toyota with a moving rod suffered damage to its front bumper, many of the windows were destroyed by gunfire and bullet holes appeared to have passed part of the doors and the A-pillar on the driver’s side. This, of course, is a small price to pay for Princelo and his companion to get out alive.

The robbers were driving an Audi A5 Sportback, which suffered much more damage than the reliable 70 series. In the images of the consequences posted on Twitter, the vehicle can be seen abandoned after the attempted robbery, it seems that its rear panel and trunk have suffered great damage as a result of Prinsloo’s protective driving.

In a statement provided to SA Trucker, speaker of South African police said: “On Thursday, April 22, a group of men tried to rob a CIT vehicle on the N4 in Pretoria. The suspects fired several shots at the CIT car in an attempt to stop it during a high-speed chase.”

“The driver of the CIT car managed to avoid the robbers for a while, but later stopped waiting for the robbers. The robbers fled without taking any money. No arrests have been made yet. “
