The official organizers of Evo 2021

Online have revealed the full schedule of tournaments for the various titles and regions of the world event, as well as opened registration so that everyone can participate in the action.

As announced earlier in March, there will be four major titles for the return of Evo with Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate and Guilty Gear Strive.

It seems that every tournament should start at 12 noon. Local time in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Currently, all events are listed to start on August 6, although this may change in the near future, given that Evo 2021 is scheduled to continue next weekend, August 13-16.

Guilty Gear Strive and MK11: Ultimate will only be available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, while Street Fighter 5 can be played on the PlayStation or PC.

Tekken 7 is the only exception that will be played exclusively in the Steam version.

Registration for these tournaments is free and will run until July 15, although some titles such as SF5 and Tekken are also divided into sub-regions – so take a close look when you go to register.

Evo 2021 claims to offer over $ 75,000 in prize money, although it has not described in detail how it will be split.

This week, Sony also unveiled the tied PlayStation 4 tournaments from the Evo Community series, which will include an expanded set of combat events in July, including titles such as Dragon Ball FighterZ, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Skullgirls 2nd Encore, Soul Calibur 6 and more.

On top of that, Evo 2021 will also host a special Them’s Fightin ‘Herds tournament, starting on July 23.

This year marks the first time that the Evolution Championship Series will be run by the new owner / management, Sony and RTS.

The company acquired the biggest fighting game in March after the removal of former organizer Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuelar on public allegations of sexual misconduct in 2020.

Evo 2021 is scheduled to take place on August 6-8 and August 13-16, and more information can be found on the registration pages of Smash.gg of the event.
