This is a discouraging development for the league, which previously stressed that the current epidemic in sports is contained within the Marlins organization. Neither the Brewers nor the Cardinals played (or will play) Marlins in 2020 on a set schedule.
The number of positive tests will be indicative, but it is easy to imagine the wide impact of positive tests on cardinals.
