The Gotham Knights, which includes an online game for two players, follows the story of Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood as they try to defend Gotham City after the fall of Batman. There will be five Gotham City areas for players and their friends to explore, and many of Batman’s iconic villains to stop.
“The dynamics for two players fit into Gotham City’s fantasy and setting.” The duet or team is such a central feature of the universe that there is a literal stenographer for it in comics, animation, movies and TV versions, “said Gotham Knights creative director Patrick Reading. “Gotham is a city of alleys and roofs, so the footprint of the game must be compatible with that.”
Even if you play alone, however, players will be happy to know that the progression of the story will be shared between all the characters, so you can switch to each character without fear of being aligned.
“Because the progression of the story is shared between all the characters, it also makes sense that you don’t have to level them from scratch every time you want to switch. It also stays very consistent with our story,” Marty said. “Because the other members of the Batman family are always in the background in some way while you are in the world fighting crime or solving the mystery, they do not remain inactive. So it makes sense that they are also progressing and getting stronger. “
Gotham Knights will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC in 2021. For more information, see the different fighting styles of the characters, why WB Games Montreal kills Batman and how the online op will work together.
