The Green Bay Packers selected Boston College lifeback Isaiah McDuffie in 220th overall in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
McDuffy (6-1, 227) played in 40 games and started 20 games at Boston College, amassing 230 battles, 15.5 loss games, 8.5 sacks, four assists and one interception over four seasons. In 2020, he has 107 careers and 6.5 battles for losses.
Packers continue to gather mid-to-late domestic linebackers in hopes of finding a hit. As for the need, the internal backback was one of the last that the team had not touched during this project.
While he was small, McDuffie used maximum speed to fly across the field and fight.
McDuffy ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds and did 25 reps on the bench. It has a RAS of 7.32.
Dane Brugler of The Athletic believes McDuffie will be a solid player on special teams and a backup at the next level.
