A vigilant ticket reservator for Walt Disney World managed to help a woman from Pennsylvania who called to buy tickets for a theme park, but was really trying to get out of her boyfriend. A Disney employee called 911 and said there was a woman on the line who thought she needed help, according to a report from the North York County Police Department in Pennsylvania. The Disney employee told police that she sensed something was wrong because she heard the woman shout “get away from me” and “get away from me” to someone while they were on the phone together on January 9. Then the Disney employee started asking the woman yes or no questions. She asked if the woman was actually calling to book a trip, to which the woman said no. “She then asked (the woman) if she needed law enforcement in her home, and she said yes, the report said. The Disney clerk also asked the woman if anyone was hurting her, and the woman said yes. Police arrived at the home and found that the woman and her friend were arguing. The woman told police she and Wayne Shiflett, 38, were arguing over him getting a “real job”

; instead of selling fire extinguishers. The woman told police that Shiflet had strangled her and that she feared she would die. Shiflet was arrested and charged with strangulation, terrorist threats with the intent to terrorize another and simple attack.
